Each step you take in the streets of Tel Aviv, you will be able to feel the spirit of entrepreneurship and action, and the feeling of love - in all its shades, that the residents feel for this city.
The LGBT community has an integral part in Tel Aviv's unique human mosaic and yes, also in its heritage.
We wanted to illuminate this heritage as part of the "Leave a Mark with Pride" exhibition, which gives us an opportunity to share the history and the path that the LGBT community in our city has gone through, through the personal stories of its veterans, and creates an in-depth discussion about the path we have gone through as a society.
This project gives a place of honor and strengthens the veterans of the LGBT community, as well as the connection between the generations and between the communities in the city of Tel Aviv. The exhibition is especially inspiring because it gives a platform to people who were previously marginalized, while today, we work to illuminate their work and thank them for it From the conversations emerge descriptions of a dark past during which they fought for the right to be who they are, and a call to the younger generation - to be involved, caring and active for others.
Our deep gratitude to the veterans for their willingness to share their story. It is a great privilege to illuminate dark parts of history, for a better future for society as a whole.
